Max Kalā Kim

Max is a Los Angeles–based repair technician, sound engineer, and multi-instrumentalist specializing in saxophone and bass clarinet. His experience as a working musician informs every part of Maximum Winds—from understanding how an instrument should feel and respond to anticipating what performers need onstage.
When he is not at the repair bench, Max can be found performing, composing, developing custom parts, or running sound for events throughout Los Angeles.
